It is an honor that my book - The Retreat of Liberal Democracy, Palgrave, 2020 - won the British Association for East European Studies (BASEES) 2022 George Blazyca Book Prize, awarded for "major contributions to East European Studies."
The award ceremony will be in April in Cambridge, as part of the annual BASEES conference, where I will also present my research, as part of a panel on understanding illiberalism in Hungary.
